Dr. Malan received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, where he was an All-American Scholar. In 1993, he graduated in the top 10% of his class and with honors from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He then completed a Surgical Internship followed by the completion of residency at Walter Reed Army and Bethesda Naval hospitals in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Malan has held academic positions at the Uniformed Services University, Georgetown, and George Washington Universities. He is published In numerous medical journals and is a frequent presenter at various lectures on the use of innovative technologies in medicine.

Dr. Malan has received advanced training in minimally invasive gynecologic, urologic, and cosmetic procedures.
